Greetings! My name is Fathiyyah Salaam, and I am passionate about empowering teens and families as they grow through life’s challenges.
I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Associate Counselor with experience as an Intensive In-Community Counselor, supporting teens and families in identifying strengths, creating goals, and addressing emotional and behavioral concerns.
My go-to therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Relational Cultural Therapy. I utilize a holistic, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, strengths-based approach in counseling to help clients reach their full potential. There’s no limit to how much we can achieve by working together!

About Fathiyyah
Fathiyyah is trained in Mindfulness, Social Emotional Learning, and Teen Mental Health First Aid. She has extensive experience working with teens, behavior planning, female mentoring, and parent coaching gained through twenty-three years of working in high school counseling, two years as an educational leader, and ten years in clinical mental health counseling. She is also a Restorative Practices Trainer who believes in the power of healthy relationships and conflict resolution.
